Try to warm the water little first

Water should be above 70deg Celsiusbefore adding formula and always water first

Looked like it’s not mixed properly I swirl to get the formula to mix out

Boiling water in the bottom, like 30ml, give it a good mix and then top up with cold boiled water. There's no bits and it's a good temperature like that x

You need to add very little water first to mix most of it. That’ll get rid of all the lumps. Then add the remaining water. Also double check the formula & water ratio.

This usually happens when the formula is added before the water. The best advice is to first put warm water in the bottles, then add the formula.

shake don’t stir 😭

Buy a tiny whisk to stir it, that's what I used to do.

@Phylicia i do, i used the bottle warmer

@Dal not sure.How many degrees the bottle warmer uses

@Melissa hmm okie. Sorry love. Not sure why then.

@Jody I will swirl next time

@Jessica thank you

@Reeti i can try that method next time.But I always check the formula in water

@Oreoluwa water was warm, then formula was added. Not sure.What's going on?I will figure it out

@Lana i know I shouldn't baby girl does not wanna wait lol

@Jacalyn that's a good idea thank you

I always poor boing water into a jug to make 6 bottles with required formula and stir it. Shaking produces more air bubbles and doesn't necessarily dissolved properly

Get a dr. Browns formula pitcher mixer off amazon! Its like $10 and will get it all mixed in. Just add the warm water first, then formula, then you're good to mix and store it!

I breast feed but my brother fed from formula and I found that we used a tommee tippee machine so after the hot shot we shook the bottle then did the rest of water and it would be less lumpy but it’s normal for there to still be a few clumps left but definitely try make a paste shake then add rest of water

It just needs to be shaken up more

How old is the formula? We accidentally made a bottle with an old tin the other day and it looked similar
