You may need to call the hospital separately and enquire about obtaining a copy of your notes, al you will be getting is a summary of your debrief nothing more. Hopefully I’m wrong but I don’t think I am.
@Aimee I’ll attempt that now thank you xx
@Rashelle Yeah I guessed that but she was still being funny about it all missing over bits so I’ll be shocked they give it to me.
@Aimee Where did you find it? There’s nothing on the website that says anything about it xx
@Caitlin so my hospital didn’t have it online either, my hospital has a patient liaison service (PALS) that I rang and they emailed me over the subject access form - maybe check if your hospital has that x
@Aimee Thank you, I’ve found one online so i’ll try that x
Tbh a summary letter will probably make a lot more sense as they remove a lot of the jargon
@Kim maybe but she was writing it down and so it’ll just be what we already spoke about anyway
Did you not get some notes through the post when you were home? I had something through. The midwife that went through my notes were really thorough with me and i managed to find out alot sorry you couldn't get anymore than what you already knew
@Hol Nope nothing. She wasn’t a midwife just a lady higher up that i believe may be in charge of them all? no idea but I was expecting a more thorough breakdown really! Oh well, I can’t change it now unfortunately x
FYI I recently when enquired about requesting my notes - I don’t know if it would be the same up country but I’d assume it would - fill out your hospital subject access request for your medical notes it should be on their website I think - not sure if GP can do this as they told me I needed to go through the hospital xx
