They say they shouldn't cause it and it's likely to have been caused by an infection (teething weakens immune system meaning more likely to get ill) x
My mom always said that was a thing as her babies (5 of them) had red bums and watery poos while teething, and I have seen it from personal experience with my two. I'd say it is definitely a thing. Just but an extra layer of cream, I have sometimes had to use two different creams at the same time (sudocrem and weleda) to treat his poor bum!
I think that’s because there is no scientific evidence of it, it would be irresponsible for them to just believe anecdotal evidence
Our GP says the same thing. I think it’s mad that every single time my bubba is teethy his poops change xx
