Mixed traditions
Since lunar new year has come and gone I had a quick question regarding extended family being included in traditions from your partner’s side. Has anyone had family ask to be included? Have you reached out to your family and offer the choice? Or do you just stick to your nuclear family celebrating.

We try to include both sides of the family where we can. For me, both sides of the family don’t really understand each other’s cultures or celebrations that much so I try to include people so they understand my daughter’s life more. I want her to be able to ask questions to whoever she feels comfortable with and they’ll be able to answer
Trending in our community
We just celebrate with our immediate family. If any extended family expressed interest we would gladly welcome them to join us.
