Bottles!!!

Right so my boy is 12 months now and I’m getting rid of the steriliser. Should I be changing his bottles to something else? We use dr brown at the moment. But I don’t know if I should be changing them now to something different. He only really has bottles before bed and 1 in the night and one before his afternoon nap. He also will not take to cows milk so he still having formula Thanks x

We have fully switched to cows milk & got rid of the steriliser! But im still using his same MAM bottles for his 2 bottles at the minute, in time i plan to introduce the milk in a cup for the morning bottle to begin with then work towards switching the bedtime bottle! X

As far as I was aware if still using formula the bottles still need to be sterilised xx

If you’re still using formula you still need to sterilise. Mine only has formula at bed and in the night now. But slowly getting there now he’s finally taken to drinking water

Need to keep sterilising until formula ends, I wouldnt bother changing bottles at this stage as theres only a couple of months left of bottles

Whoa whoa whoa…. So when we switch to cows milk we do t need to sterilise?! Why did I not know this? Oops 😅🤦‍♀️ I’ve been putting off moving from formula to cows milk because my boy has been ill and I’ve appreciated the calories in the formula…. Now he’s over the illness and only ever doing 4oz in his bottles… so think now is the time to make the transition…

Thank you everyone!

I still use the MAM bottles for his bedtime bottle. I stopped sterilising his bottles when he started picking up and eating food he’d dropped on the floor
