I have the Yoyo which is cabin approved and you can wheel it into the aircraft and put it in the hatrack on board. I got it second hand off market place! So wasn’t too expensive
I just took an umberella fold and handed it over when we boarded then it was first to come off at the other side
Another vote for the Joolz Aer+. Beware though lots of airlines now even if strollers are cabin approved don’t allow them in the cabin, especially during busy flights/ peak travel months during the summer x
@Yasmin that’s interesting to know. I bought hoping it make it easier to get on / off the plane as the stroller always seems to be last off the luggage. I read one airline said it had to count as part of my hand baggage so I would lose a bag. Have you experienced this?
@Shantaye yes it will always replace your hand luggage nowhere will allow you to take onboard in addition to hand luggage but I’ve also experienced not being allowed to take onboard at all and having to put in the hold despite it being instead of my hand luggage. You only get it free and in addition to your luggage in the hold. Some airports then allow strollers to be given back on the tarmac but most don’t and they go to baggage reclaim so I’d make sure you have a bag and are prepared to check it in just in case x
We’ve just bought a joolz aer which is cabin approved. My sister also uses the bugaboo butterfly. Both good options. Do you mean to store in the overhead lockers? As I’m not sure if any flights let you actually use the pushchair on the plane it’s self
