before they get germs they get vomit poo or saliva so you will wash it very often. or do you mean new from the shop then yes definitely wash them

100%!! They have been all over the place they use chemicals to get all the creases out, not to mention the amount of hands that have touched them in the shop 🤷🏻‍♀️ You’re doing the right thing g by your baby and that’s all that matters 🥰 x

I always wash everything before using it

Wash all clothes before wearing them with non-scent!! The toxins they use to preserve stuff literally breaks my skin out if I try them on in store too long and babies are super sensitive. Please look up harmful side effects of laundry detergents with scents!!

I always wash new clothes, even socks, and not just baby clothes but also mine, always have always will 🙌🏼

Tbh I've never washed any of my two babies clothes and they've never had sick problems or been ill but that's just me

When are we all washing our newborns clothing? I’m doing some now but I’ve still got 10 weeks to go… so I wash it again just before baby’s here?

@Zoe Saffron Piper I’m due April 24th I’m gunna start washing next next weekend and the weekend after so it’s ready x

i’m gonna start washing mine at 30 weeks, i’ll just use the fairy non bio as we use this with our daughter and she’s got sensitive skin and it’s been fine, though i don’t really use softener for this reason😅 i’m gonna put them all in little labelled bags for sizing and then put them in a storage box and hope this keeps them clean so i don’t have to rewash before baby😂
