We give my 11mos old 3bottles a day; 3oz in the morning when she wakes up 3oz in the afternoon before nap time 4oz for bedtime. That's besides the food she eats 3x a day and a snack in the afternoon after her 2nd nap.
@Ailyn is she on a 1 nap schedule?
My son just gets one before bed and in the middle of the night if he wakes hungry. You can absolutely switch to whole milk at one. Its important for their brain development to have the fat in it. Trust me she's getting all the nutrients she needs from the solids now. Formula actually isn't recommended for major consumption after 1 because they have other nutritional needs at that point that formula doesn't fulfill
@Rayza she takes 2 naps, 1st is at 10-11:30am second nap is at 2:30-3:30pm
I just did the same things this week. We transitioned from formula to whole milk. My son normally drinks 3 10oz bottles and he eats 2 meals a day with snack in between 10oz in the morning 4oz in the afternoon/ nap 10 oz of milk and cereal mixed for bed
We're in the process of transitioning. She gets straw cups only no bottles. But we're starting the 50/50 mix of formula/whole milk tomorrow. She gets 4 of these a day 6oz max. 8am, 1pm, 5pm, and 8pm
She has breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack or three throughout the day though
I still offer mine her formula 4 times a day some days she’ll drink it others she won’t she ranges between 18-20ish oz a day I’m waiting for her 1 year appointment to see about transitioning as it’s only 4 days past her birthday I don’t think giving her formula those 4 days will be bad until I’m able to talk with her pediatrician but I know some have already started to give their los regular milk or have started transitioning my oldest is 11 so I forgot how all this goes lol
