Holiday help and advice please!

So we have booked a holiday to the Canary Islands for next month and our baby boy will be 7 months. I'm looking for any advice/tips for the actual holiday itself in terms of feeding, what brand sunscreen, other general recommendations and ideas. Don't need any airport tips as we have got all our necessary travel stuff sorted! Thanks in advance!

Oooo it will be so fun - did our first one abroad when my first was 7 months! Are you doing all inclusive or self catered bc that makes a huge difference Buffets are perfect for weaning bc they’ll have plain pasta, fruit, veggies, etc. We’ve always used the Child’s Farm sunscreen and it’s been great Try not to worry about sleep and routine so much just go with the flow, it will be MUCH more enjoyable for everyone and you will get back to routine once you’re home See if you’re able to pre book a crèche for at least some of the days through your hotel or otherwise for a few hours adult time only

@Allie all inclusive thank god! 🫣😂

Haha awesome that’s what we did (and are doing again in April). We did one of the a la carte dinners because our package came with like 3 of them but quickly reverted back to the buffet 😅 Other thing I’m not sure if you’d be able to now based on availability and what you’ve purchased, but HIGHLY recommend getting a swim up room with a divider. Seriously made our last holiday amazing. You can literally be sitting in the water while they’re napping

I took my LG on her first trip at 4months, the only really life saving thing we needed was the baby carrier. She was too small for the front facing pram so would always cry in it but the carrier was a LIFESAVER! She would fall asleep anywhere in it. Was so easy going everywhere and anywhere (my husband did the majority of the carrying cuz your back will feel it!) we also had a little sunhat to cover her face when she took a nap in the carrier and we were out and about to let her sleep peacefully.
