Potty training

We started last week! So far it’s been going good

We started. But once she managed to actually go in the potty, she looked in after and was terrified. So we've put a pause on it for now since it upsets her

Starting tomorrow!

Yes. He’s good with peeing but we’re having trouble with pooping 😭 the amount of stories I have is crazy lollll. He’s learning but definitely the most frustrating part of the process for me

Been at it for a few months. Finally making progress. She's been ready, but I don't have 3 days to commit to an intensive 3 day method. Just giving lots of opportunities, lots of praise for success, and lots of words of encouragement after accidents

No. I don’t think she is ready and as per my experience so far it’s easier and quicker if I don’t try to rush things with her. We have potties and she now sits with her pants on it’s a struggle to make her sit without a diaper. I’ve read various opinions that most kids are ready between 2.5 or few months before 3 yrs old. I’m planning to try more seriously sometime around Easter

We started 2months ago and still are . She is fully potty trained when naked but pants on is another story

We’re starting mid-Feb! I need alllll the tips 😂 and I’m 100% up for ripping the bandaid off. Just want the most practical and successful approach with the shortest amount of chaos 😂

@Kelley we did no crap method and she only had 2accidents by day 2 the first day is very stressful its mainly just accidents all day the more accidents they have the quicker they learn. Best advise i can give you clean floors with puppy pads! My daughter was peeing like every 5mins on day one so by the time i mopped and cleaned she peed again , the floors were wet and she would slip and hurt herself it was so stressful for both of us. Then i started cleaning it with puppy pads and omg what a life saver. It absorbed the pee so quick and no odour just mopped floors once she was in bed. We were struggling to keep her down on a potty for more like a second so i downloaded a picture reveal app to get her to stay on the potty and eventually she realised that in order to stay dry she had to sit longer. We only used it on the first 2days then we moved onto books because books didnt work on her the first day but worked later on.

@Rasma great advice!!!! Thank you! I’ve read the book and I feel “ready”, but omg it’s daunting. I can’t even imagine how exhausting day 1 is!! What is the Picture Reveal app you downloaded? I am certain my son will really resist sitting on the toilet

@Kelley what ever you do , dont give up after day 1 😂 i promise day 2 is so much better .
