Lume body deodorant
Thank you ladies. I’ll see if he’s willing to purchase them. It’s really bad and I just want to be able to help in some way
I misunderstood the glycolic acid thing last year, I thought you used it instead of deodorant. You absolutely don't haha. You can use both, but on its own glycolic acid does nothing I found. One thing that helped a male friend of mine who had stinky pits was trimming the hair regularly. The more hair there the more sweat and bacteria gets trapped in it
@Claudia not sure if he shaves but I’ll def recommend that. I doubt he sweats a lot though since he doesn’t really do much but then again he’s probably a sweaty person
Arm and hammer deodorant is the longest lasting deodorant I’ve ever had.
I’d make sure he knows how to do laundry correctly and regularly. Sometimes it’s people’s clothes as much as it is body odor
@Huney. I’ve seen people say this is a good brand
@Amber his uniform do be looking dirty so that could be a factor too.
@Jody I think it would be good for him, it really lasts for us
There's a couple of things that could help: •Antibacterial soap/body wash. (It's the bacteria that smells, so he'll want something to neutralise and kill the bacteria) https://www.verywellfit.com/best-antibacterial-body-wash-7497713#:~:text=Dettol's%20Anti%20Bacterial%20pH%2DBalanced,for%20our%20top%20overall%20pick. https://www.floraandfauna.com.au/products/detox-my-pits-armpit-detox-mask?variant=49688984518930&tp_cid=21461519974&tp_id=705375294943&tp_pid=49688984518930&tp_source=google&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkoe9BhDYARIsAH85cDOvFbfpFkpJjR7KUta1l9amsL1MujZa02mg9dZLwFRAKB23jgwoKVoaAoulEALw_wcB https://www.hairymancare.com.au/products/combat-antifungal-body-wash-500ml?variant=39909079089238&country=AU¤cy=AUD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkoe9BhDYARIsAH85cDPiBreVm00WX8riO9NyuZZL9xcrDL-T6xT_1VxFsrVEoO4i3NlOWpYaAk1cEALw_wcB
•Industrial/clinic strength antiperspirant (Stop the sweat that the bacteria feed on) He can shower at night, dry thoroughly and then apply the antiperspirant before bed. https://lavilin.com.au/products/body-wash-deodorant?variant=42879529713850&country=AU¤cy=AUD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkoe9BhDYARIsAH85cDNtU6M_3dRgX0m0TOk9D2jA3lRTw4niv69W57_Dm9RWnstl_93QNfoaAnN-EALw_wcB https://amzn.asia/d/0hVMY5t https://www.verywellfit.com/best-deodorants-for-men-8752482
•ensure his clothes, sheets, and towels are clean, and use an antibacterial laundry wash. The smell can attach to clothes and contribute. https://www.clorox.com/learn/how-to-remove-underarm-body-odor-from-clothes/
@Laura 🍉🇵🇸✊🏻 ouu thank you. I’ll def tell him about this. They did a room inspection and they said his room wasn’t smelling good. So now I’m forced to do random room inspections and I don’t want to be covering my nose when I walk in cause I don’t like being rude
@Jody yeah that's fair enough.. If it continues to be an issue after trying the above, he may need to seek medical advice.
I've heard of people liking stuff like the Ordinary's glycolic acid for body odor. I've been liking an all over body deodorant by Old Spice personally
