Anyone else struggling with potty training? 💩

LO has decided the last few weeks that when she has to poop to hide and play with it instead 😭 it is stressing me out greatly. And they told me some babies/toddlers play with it when they discover it because of sensory exploration since it’s a new textural discovery they wanna play with it. I’ve tried to catch her before she does it or tries to eat it (because she tries to put everything in her mouth). And it’s not every time she goes, it’s maybe twice a week. Send help 😭😭😭😭😭 or something. Tips or something, deterring her isn’t working and talking to her about how it’s yucky and you can’t play with it isn’t as well.

Mine has been doing it for so long now she turned 3 yesterday and has pooped and peed on the potty but just won’t do it now? Idk what’s going on. I guess where just going with the flow at this point. Following

Mine son too had pooped and peed in the potty too! How he doesn’t want to anymore :/

Have you tried offering a 'special' treat? Like something she loves but only gets when she poops on the potty. Ours is an oreo.

And it’s like she knows not to because now she hides and does it and if you catch her you get an “uh oh” and then she tries to run. Like kid you’re stressing me

mine had no interest in potty training at all until i stopped diapers/pullups all together! we did the first few day completely naked, then the next few days underwear, then pants & underwear! hope that helps!

My daughter only pees in the toilet but won’t poop 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Jessica i have carpet 😭😭 as much as i would love to the idea of shampooing my carpet even more than i do now is 😬

Omg no we only have big rug but what I’m try do is put underwear on her and pamper over it so when she dose go she won’t like the feeling maybe that will get her so go use the toilet more 😫🚽
