How long does the first midwife appointment last (UK)

If it’s your first baby approx 60-90 minutes x

Was a ftm and my appointment lasted an hour

I had 2 first appointments as I changed trust so had to have a new booking appointment. First one took FOREVER. Had to have bloods etc. maybe 2.5hrs. Second maybe 90 mins?

I was at mine for 2 and a half hours second time round 🤣🫠

My booking appointment was by phone and was 15 minutes. I had no family history or medical history to discuss everything was straight forward

I would say allow 2 hours - only because my midwife was always running late!
