I did at around 14 weeks, I had the gel and oral antibiotics, take the medication you've been prescribed, if it wasn't okay, they wouldn't give it to you. I was completely fine and it cleared up and I haven't had it since
yeah I am just concerned that it harms baby in any sort of way
I had bv with my first and took antibiotics and all was fine. I’ve also had it this time and took antibiotics and everything is fine. I think the risks of BV are worse x
@Christie Thank you! Did you take the tablets or did you have the gel as I’ve been prescribed gel Instead of the tablets. My swabs have all came back clear although still getting the green discharge so they have started me on this but feel worried incase I’m taking it for no reason
Yeah I had it around 9 weeks and was on antibiotics, all good and it's potentially harmful to baby if left untreated. They wouldn't prescribe anything that may harm the baby x
@Emma Howie it was antibiotics id still use the gel though to clear up whatever’s causing the green discharge. Infections are more harmful for baby than medicine x
@Darcey did you take the pill?
Please follow the advice of your specialist. What would be harmful to the baby is not treating the infection.
