Formula Feeding frequency

Hi there. Baby boy is 3 months old and exclusively formula fed for the last month. Gaining weight well and is very content. He is feeding every 2-3hrs (120ml bottles) and I am wondering if he should be going longer between feeds at this age? I’ve tried giving more milk at each feed but he doesn’t usually finish the bottle. Could this be a phase or a growth spurt and he will naturally extend feeding windows? Or is he just going to be a big eating boy 😆 Thanks!
