Question đź’ˇ

How early did you guys let family and friends see your baby after being in the NICU? She was in the NICU for 75 days and she’s been out and at home for a week now and I told everyone to give her 4 weeks to get adjusted at home. Is that reasonable or should it be longer? What are you guys thoughts?

My friend didn’t allow family/friends over till 3 months corrected age to keep her preemie safe once home. You have to do what you think is best for your family. Hoping baby & you are settling in well at home now 🫶🏻

We were only in the nicu for 18 days. And my baby was born full term and almost 9 lbs. so we had a few visits in the nicu. And then waited a week at home.

My whole family was recovering from COVID (Omicron era 2022) so we made them wait 2 weeks. After that it was wearing mask, wash hands, wear clean clothes - meaning don't stop at a store or something on your way to our house and get germs on yourself. That's just me. Do what makes you comfortable. Welcome home ❤️
