Legoland

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has been to Legolnd in the past with little ones?. I'm planning ahead for the summer and plan to take my 3yr to Legoland along with my little one who will be 1. Is there many rides that he will be able to sit with us on?. Gentle rides.

Personally I'd avoid with such small kids. During the summer and half terms it gets BUSY, so queue times are so long, it's so expensive for hours of queuing!

@Rebecca Thank you. I probably should add it will be in the week and term time. So quiet & our tickets are free 🥰.

Yeah I think even with free tickets it's not something I'd do again, essentially with kids of that age. I won't even do it with my 14yo and 10 yo, traumatised 😅

@Rebecca Oh god! Haha. Never good when traumatised by a family day out.

I haven't been for years and look forward to taking my baby when she is older 😊 There's a very sweet and gentle ride called fairytale brook which they should be able to go on, possibly a couple of others but I'm not sure. Hope you enjoy it!

@Kim I think I just hate theme parks in general these days lol

I've been going since my kids were little but until they are tall enough to go on the rides (then you need two adults as they want you next to them on most) there isn't much other than enjoying that the park. In the summer it's good as the splash park is great at any age. At there ages you will be looking at about 4 rides maybe fairy tale brook, the train, learner drivers and meri go round. Your three year old will get on more most likely but if you're alone it's hard. It is a fun day out just walking around as there are lego stations for building, gold paning ( in this weather they will most likely hate the cold and you end up doing it) play grounds and shows to watch and the mini lego village. My advice is go with a friend/family if wanting to go now they will still enjoy it just expensive if you can't get in much.

@Anna Thank you. It would be in June, and my other half would be with me. Lol, I don't think I could handle two children at a theme park on my own 😅

No, I would suggest to go when they are at least 120cm to go on most rides, we went last year with 6yo, 4yo and 2yo my oldest was able to go on any he liked but others two just on few. Peppa pig world is great if he likes Peppa 🥰

I went in October last year with my 3 year old and 4month old. If you download the app you can add your child’s height so it will tell you what rides they can do. My 4month old didn’t go on anything but my 3year old went on plenty.
