I second anbesol liquid and ibuprofen is better than Calpol imo x
Yep anbesol liquid
Definitely Anbesol Liquid and ibuprofen x
Sorry for jumping on but is there a difference between the liquid and the gel? 2 nights of hardly any sleep and I'm losing the will to live đ
Thanks all! Definitely gonna get some Anbesol x
@emma I personally found the gel useless, the liquid is instant numbing. Try some on yourselfđ„° x
@emma liquid is way better x
@emma I find the gel doesnât stay on it just slips out because of all the dribble lol. The liquid is like direct! X
@Sophie do you get the liquid from the chemist?
@emma yes behind the counter x
Ibuprofen is meant to b better for teething and definitely ambesol
Thought I'd also mention on this since it's related to teething. My LO over the past 2 days seems to be suffering worse than he ever has with it. But I'm worried about his feeds he's gone off eating, so he usually has about 25-30oz milk and 3 meals/purĂ©es every day. Yesterday he only had 15oz and 1 purĂ©e which he was reluctant to finish. Today he's had 12oz so far but he just turns away from the bottle, I'm assuming it's due to discomfort. He doesn't want any purĂ©e either but he's had a yoghurt and a couple of Blueberry's. He was poorly in November and stopped eating due to being unwell, he developed a food/bottle aversion and ended up in hospital, going from 54th Centile to 2nd. He's just got back to 52nd Centile recently. So now whenever his eating drops off it really worries me incase he ends up back at square oneđ€ŠđŒââïž. Anyone know anything that could maybe help?
I would say just trying to manage the pain and inflammation in the gums because that will be what's putting him off eating and drinking. But teething is known for knocking them with their feeding, bowels, getting snotty etc xx
