How would it make you feel if every time you went into the same room as your SO they click off the screen of what they were doing on their phone?
It seems like everytime I go into the same area as my SO he clicks off of what he was doing and ends up on the home screen as soon as I walk in! And he always says he was just done doing whatever he was doing. But would it make you feel like they were hiding something? He doesn’t understand how it looks from my standpoint. Because it’s like I know you’re not just sitting here staring at your home screen everytime I come in😂

If you feel like it’s sketchy it’s probably sketchy. The only good thing it could be would be him planning a surprise for you but I’m gonna assume he’s not that type of guy if you’re tripping about his phone.
I find when they are not very specific it means they are probably lying , he should be able to have his phone out and not like this hidden treasure with his secrets, id ask him to see his phone and to be more open, if not...sneak it. Try first though, and if he cant give a reason why..yeah I'd be suss
