spitting up formula

my 2 week old is on kendamil organic formula but last day or so she’s been spitting up after her feeds and she wasn’t doing that. she was taking 2oz now maybe a little under 3oz but she will ask for it. i’m not sure if i should switch or just lower the amount i’m giving her.. she takes about 3oz every 3 to 4 hours

Are you burping her?

We had this issue with our baby since birth turns out he has a reflux issue we have to feed him on his side so he doesn’t get to much then burb him every ounce nd keep him sitting up right for 15-20 minutes after the feed the doctor also did prescribe a medication he takes every morning but he’s doing great now at 5 weeks old

@Diamond thank you ! i’m going to try this. she’s still so tiny so i guess I get scared putting her to the side

@Sarah Jean yesss i always try to make sure we burp her even tho she doesn’t always burp. i told her ped doctor this but she said it’s normal that sometimes they won’t always burp

My baby is super tiny he is only 6lb 8 oz so I get it but it was recommended from the pediatrician and we just make sure to have one arm behind him so he doesn’t roll off our lap or anything
