No energy for life today

I feel so depressed and foggy and wish I could sleep my life away.. why does life have to be so shitty? I just want to be happy..

I’m so sorry you feel like that. We all have days like that. Is there a specific reason why you are feeling that? Could you talk to someone? A friend or someone close about that?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! As someone who struggles with this often some things that help me are -drag myself out of bed no matter what. -make my bed and time myself (usually takes 3minutes) -play music loud enough to hear it around your home. -have motivational podcasts saved for moments like this. -watch what other people do on YT/TT that are going through what you are. -get sun. -walk barefoot outside in the grass. -shower even if you have to sit in the shower. -have an accountability partner-make a selfcare checklist even if it’s just brushing your teeth and washing your hair. -go for a walk (I recommend somewhere with lots of nature but your neighborhood is fine) -try something new even if it’s just ordering a new drink. -pray! -read your Bible -listen to worship music (this helps me a lot) -eat something nurturing and tell yourself you’re nurturing your body. -sometimes you need some rest and if so ask someone you trust to watch your kids so you can rest.

Tackle something small to increase productivity! This is so helpful when I feel like I haven’t gotten anything done. -dress up (on these days I like to over dress, it helps) - wear that special perfume/jewelry you usually save for special occasions. Or if you want something comfy I make my comfy outfit as cute as possible. -make a dream board on Pinterest. Remember your situation is temporary. Things get better ❤️‍🩹 -drink coffee ( caffeine helps with depression) -write 5 things you’re grateful for even if they’re small. -pet an animal. -eat dark chocolate 60% cacao -submerge your face in ice water - follow a workout video-scream (it helps) -also cry but don’t stay there! -go see people even if you don’t want to! You’ll feel better afterwards (make sure it’s good people) I really hope these help you as much as they help me. Remember you’re not alone and some days are way harder than others but you can do this and push through it. You can do hard things and this is only temporary! ❤️❤️‍🩹

Also don’t forget to see your doctor if you can! Get blood work and see if you have any deficiencies! Make sure you have all of your vitamins!

I’m so sorry you feel this way. Is there something that’s triggered you feeling this way? Do you have a good support network that you can lean on? Try to remember that it’s just a bad day not a bad life. Things will get easier & you will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
