Have booked to go on holiday in June, my baby will be 7 months when we go. Is there anything anyone recommends for the plane journey?

Following this! We are off in May and our little boy will be 7 months!

Following also… we are going in June with a 6 month old ❤️

Milton tablets & collapsible bucket if your formula feeding, Milton anti bac wipes. snooze shade & pram fan. I’d definitely take enough formula, nappies and wipes as they’re so expensive abroad. We also took a uv beach tent my little boy wasn’t too fussed by it but it works for a lot of people. Also a couple of new toys/ books for the plane they’ve never seen before, spinners for the window and iPad if you’re happy to do sceeen time x

You can take as much baby milk as you need which is great so we took the pre made formulas for travelling. We bought some of the fidget spinners to stick to the window to entertain her. Also a Snoozeshade has been a god send for holidays. We took one of those tiny blow up pools with a shade which we used with and without water with toys to entertain her x

@Holly can I ask how you physically took them?? Surely they could quite easily leak in a suitcase with how rough the baggage handlers can be, I’d be panicking! Plus the weight of if… would defo go over the case kg limit knowing me haha

Feed/ dummy on take off and landing which is supposed to be help them not get sore ears. We went for a very short flight the other week and she fed and slept the whole way

@Jess we used the pre made just for the flights & it had a seal on as well as the lid so there’s no risk of leaking. We had 8 bottles of that. Then we used a MAM container for extra powder formula just in case and a flask full of boiling water (allowed to take in because it was for baby but could get it refilled in airport/on flight anyway) but we didn’t need it. We used C&G milk for our daughter so bought one of the boxes that had pouches in rather than a tub and put that in the suitcase. To be honest most places you will be able to get the common formulas abroad anyway. Or like others say you can do click & collect to the boots in the airport and that doesn’t count on your baggage weight. We couldn’t do this as we flew on a Sunday and it was shut x

Surprise toys for the fight when you need a new distraction! Melty puffs or other easy to eat snacks. My son is 7 months and we have now done 3 long haul flights. Good luck!

Packing a smaller pouch with essentials for diaper changes versus the big bag or crying things in your hands. The bathroom is already super tiny!

I went to turkey when my baby was 4 months and we used those soundproof ear protectors and he slept so well the entire flight! ✈️
