@Sophie nope. I don't want to really go to Dr's as they will think I'm mad. Surely would be testing positive by now
When you get late into pregnancy the hormone is to high to actually turn up on some tests so they come back negative you'd be best conforming by blood test or scan xx
Have you had a period since? Have you got a bump?
I have read that when hcg reaches its peak you won't get a positive test, it's called the hook effect, google it see what you think xx
' While rare, it's seen most often with twins, triplets, or anything that sends hCG levels over 500,000 mIU/mL. When the test gets oversaturated, it can't bond properly with the hCG molecules. This may lead to a false negative result. hCG levels peak around the 10th or 11th week of pregnancy.
How soon after positive tests did you get negative ?
Do another test but dilute your wee with some water and see if you get a positive. After you got your positive did you not tell your doctor, you should have had or be due your 12 week scan?
Hi everyone, so I am on pill so not had a period, apart from a couple of days ago I had a tiny bit of bleeding for a couple of hours. I got negative tests day after the positive. I always just thought the positive was a evap as line didn't show up until an hour later when I checked it
Anyone any ideas
It definitely looks positive. Make a docs appointment and get them to do hcg blood tests
It looks positive but if it showed up an hour after being left it would be invalid. If you haven’t got a bump it’s highly unlikely you’re pregnant, as to see your belly moving the baby would need to be large enough for you to be showing.
Have you had blood tests /scans
