My 6 week old's looks exactly the same at times but he eats regularly and wees regularly 🤔 I too keep getting concerned though! Asking about it tomorrow at our 6 week check, kinda hoping it is like this so that the gp can see it as it comes and goes x
Does it look a bit less sunken/ flat once they’ve had milk? X
@Jess could you give more info? I was about to comment that mine has a smaller one but I feel like it kind of disappears after breastfeeding. Wasn't sure it's connected to feeding until I read your comment
My midwife said if it looks like the its from dehydration
@Brittany think it’s because when sunken it can be a sign of dehydration xx
@Brittany my little boys does this and I remember with my first but it’s only for temporary and if he hasn’t done a feed in awhile. Usually notice it when he asks for milk! Sometimes after big wee or poo but it always comes back up after having milk
Sounds weird but if you tip her on her side is it normal? My eldest had a really big soft spot and I thought it was sunken one day but then realised it was just always like that if he was upright and if I had him on his side/lying down is was completely normal again!
