Still showing a faint positive

Think it’s anything from about 3 weeks

Spoke with epu she’s said they’d expect it to be negative by now 🥴 having to get bloods done now I’m worried what’s going on

I miscarried on 11th jan and was told to test on the 1st feb to make sure was negative. They told me no point to test anytime before that. I guess it’s case by case maybe? X

@Tamsin I’ve miscarried before a few times and everytime they expect a negative in a weeks time. Are you Scotland? X

@Tamsin so strange even online nhs says a negative within 3 weeks I don’t understand why my hospital expect it within a week! X

No in England so maybe they have different rules? 1 week does sound super speedy for a negative though x

@Tamsin it seeming that way! Tbh in previous losses it has been negative within the week but I think I was further along this time which I’ve explained to the nurse but she said it’s going on abit long and would expect a negative by now. After 10 days! Xx

I’ve just had this I had some retained tissue mine was barely detectable on a test. X

@Danielle how did they find out? And did you just have to take tablets xx

So I did the tablets and from an honest opinion I really don’t recommend them. They caused quite a lot of issues for me and quite a few people I know I’ve had problems. The surgery in terms of recovery and mentally is far better x

Mine wasn’t even as dark as yours x

Strange how the advice they give varies. I was told 2 weeks too and I tested 2 weeks and 2 days since MC started and was completely negative

@Laura I know I was thinking this, I’ve not taken my test today, I’m going to wait till Friday as my anxiety is through roof with it all. Hoping it’ll be negative 🤞has your bleeding stopped xx

Yes my bleeding stopped nearly 2 weeks ago now I started MC on 26th of Jan and bled for 6 days

@Laura my bleeding was almost away but I’ve started spotting again. Been 12 days for me so far 😭 hopefully ends soon x

Ahhhh I see, hopefully won’t be much longer! I’m just waiting for my period to return now so I can feel a sense of normality/closure I guess xx
