My babys been on size 1 from the beginning as advised by my midwife x
Mine was on size 1 from day one but moved to size 2 now, he’s only 4 weeks old but we use thickener for his reflux so we had to go up a size x
With my first we used 0 and size 1 we were advised to not go bigger than size 1.
It's all trial and error by little boy has been on 1s for 2 or so weeks he's 5 weeks tomorrow he's also tried number 2 and wasn't too bad on them just depends how well you little one can cope with the flow. You don't have use the teats by the age it says it's just recommended, plus if your on any thicker milk etc you will need to go up a size. The rule of thumb is your baby should be fed and winded within 45 mins or under any longer I would go up a size
We just changed to MAM bottles as recommended due to suspected tongue tie. We tried a 2 size for our 7 week old but it was a bit much for her as she suffers getting a good latch so now on size 1 and we find that better but she tends to fall asleep on the bottle now as alot harder work for her
We moved to size 1 around 3 weeks old :) xx
