Hi, I work mon- Fri and little one in nursery 4 timez a week, I would speak with nursery with what you are planning, if they are like mine they will support the process, lots of extra pants and leggings for thr day, maybe start on your days off if she's ready, lots of praise, mine loved stickers after using the potty ha x

My daughter is now fully day time potty trained, my husband and I both work full time, we took a week of from work and we spent the week at home where she went bare bottom for three days and took her to her potty every 20 minutes, we did a reward chart where she would get a sticker every time she had a wee and 2 stickers if she did a poo, ( there will be lots of accidents for the first few weeks), after the third day we let her wear knickers so she got used to them and still took her to the potty every 20 minutes. If you let nursery know you have started potty training, most if not all of them will carry on the same routine at their facility so the children don’t get confused. It can be hard but my advice would be to try not to get frustrated and to always praise even the smallest of wees and poops

It’s intense, but if you can spend about three days indoors with her wearing no nappy, that should massively help. I did this with my daughter and then on the third day she put trousers on in the afternoon. She had lots of accidents over the three days but also lots of successes. I just overpraised her every time she used the potty. I also gave her a little treat in the evening of each day to say well done. The fourth day was at nursery and I just told them exactly what we’d done and they also followed that, so she just wore trousers and they kept asking her about using the potty/toilet. We are now three weeks in and she now lets us know when she needs to go and we aren’t really having many accidents at all. I’d say, if you are going to do it then properly go for it as it gets confusing for them if they are sometimes in nappies and sometimes not.
