How to keep produce fresh for more than a few days?

Please any tips will help. I already wash them in water with a bit of baking soda and vinegar.

Make sure you’re storing them in the right spot and at the right temperature! A lot of fruits and veggies don’t do well beside each other too so it really depends on the type of produce

Yessss what @Juli said. There’s so much information online that tells you how to store each item so that it lasts longer. Google is your friend in this scenario.

Retweet @Juli but also (just in case you are using them together) using both vinegar and baking soda at the same time neutralizes the power of what vinegar or baking soda can do for your produce. Essentially, you’re just washing them in regular water. If you pick one, you’ll see better results. Baking soda is better for removing pesticides and vinegar is better for the removal of bacteria. I use both but I do them separately.

@Lexi I never knew to do it separately. I will be doing that from now on.

Wrapping/rolling up herbs in a damp tea towel in the fridge works. If I get celery or carrots, berries etc I wash and store them in glass containers. Prolongs shelf like a lot.
