Health visitor home visit

I declined mine

I had the health visitor come a couple of weeks ago, she just sat in the living room and asked us a variety of questions, gave us some leaflets and said she’ll see us again 14 days after baby is born

Yeah I have mine coming 3 weeks before baby is due. Happy to have the chance to meet her and have a chat before baby is here 😊

I haven't received any letter yet. I didn't have one in my first until I put to bed.

I didn’t have anyone come to my house with my first but did do a video call appointment (covid times😂), had a health visitor come to our house a couple of weeks ago for this baby and same as kelsey she just sat in the living room with us and just went over some basic info, asked me a couple of questions and asked if i had any questions and that was it, she was supposed to bring my red book too but didn’t have any with her so she posted it about a week later x

Mines a video call appointment 3 weeks before the baby is due, thought it’s a bit strange. Might aswell be a phone call lol😅

Had a call with one today for the first time for 45 minutes and I'm 36 weeks pregnant. She also said to expect me to hear from her after birth x

Yeah I had my letter the other week, and had a visit when pregnant with my first. They just come to introduce themselves, have a general chat and discuss basic info such as safe sleep etc. Fairly generic

I declined

Mine came a few weeks ago and she just asked various questions. More of an informal chat really just to make sure we're OK and introduce herself x

I've not had anything during pregnancy! I only thought the health visitor reaches out once you've had the baby and discharged from midwife services

Mine is coming round two weeks before my due date. Is it worth partners being there for it?

Mine came round yesterday, she was only here for 30 mins. It was a very informal chat, and making sure we were prepared. She also went through some antenatal stuff x

She was my eldest HV and just came to check in and see how we all were doing and to bring baby boys red book with leaflets on bottle feeding and breast feeding. She was gone within 25/30 mins and then said she’d get back in contact when after baby’s born x
