Potty recommations?

I feel like theirs so many options on the market, no idea which one to get. One that looks like a mini toilet or just a big standard one? Then have to think about when we go out etc. don’t want to waste lots of money. Does anyone have any advice recommendations?

I got a smaller potty and a potty seat for when she had gotten taller. Worked pretty well for us. Did the 3 day with her wearing nothing. Only had 2 accidents so be warned! But she got It pretty quickly.

We got a travel potty for the car / out and about and then at home we just got one of those ladder toilet seats so he could use the toilet. Which has worked great (although he refuses to use the travel potty 😂)

We had a my carry potty for days out & then a potty that looked like a toilet downstairs and two cheap potty's in the upstairs bathrooms x

We got a carry potty for out and about / in the car (expensive but worth it) and we got one of the toilet shaped ones for in the house. Tbh that is just novelty, we only used it right in the beginning and mainly used one of the seats that go on top of the toilet seats. Now have the potty in her room for emergency wees when she wakes up. Recently upgraded the toilet seat topper to toilet step seats, these are brilliant as once they get older they can go to the toilet fully by themselves and they double up as steps to reach the sink.

Our OT recommended a potty seat with steps so they're feet don't dangle. The seat folds down so he can use the steps to wash hands too

Ive got a travel potty for out and about and bought a family toilet seat and steps for at home he also uses the steps to wash his hands

https://amzn.eu/d/0dXYlFs This is the best thing we bought for my daughter, have used it for a year now out and about, she didn’t get on with the carry potty but keeping hold of it for my son when the time comes to potty train him
