Potty training and nursery
We’re going to start this weekend and then on Wednesday - Friday she will go to nursery. I’ve spoken to them and they don’t seem keen on her going commando and would like her to come in pull ups. I feel like this will just be backwards steps though. Have you got any advice about how you navigated potty training and nursery? Thanks!

Don't send in pull-ups we did as it's what nursery asked and it totally confused her, so I just send her in knickers and leggings and plenty of spares
Could you put her in knickers with pull ups over the top? So she still gets the feeling and sensation on being wee but it’s not quite so messy for nursery to deal with?
Nursery was a massive step backwards for us because he refuses to use their potty. Despite being potty trained at home for at least 5 months, he just wont do it at nursery! Maybe I’ll try the pull ups over pants but it’s been so bad that it is now making him go backwards at home too as I guess it is massively confusing for him to be in and out of nappies…

I just sent her in with lots of spare clothes and pants. She had been doing it for around 1/2 weeks at home as we did it over Xmas break. Mine said we could bring our own potty in if she preferred hers or they have little toilets with toddler seats. Luckily she likes the use the big girl toilet but they said they would do whatever suited her xx I have seen people put pants on with a pull up over them so she still gets the sensation of being wet but without the mess. Might be an option for them? Xx
