@Riley I wasn’t really asking for medical just if anybody else has been through this or whatever but I was planning on going to the doctors and seeing what’s going on
I had an implant after my 1st and bled every day until it was removed. Sometimes the hormones dont work thr same after baby is never had the issue b4
@Louise that’s honestly what I was thinking like maybe it was just my hormones or whatever
I took one of shots and literally made me feel awful, and made me bleed for two months straight, besides that it made me feel like I was pregnant again, so I went off of it in October, I still haven’t gotten my normal period back, I think I may have had one normal period but then the following month i just spotted im still waiting for my next period, I don’t know if this is normal or not
SO! After my second child (2018) and my third (2024 obviously🤣) both times they gave me the depo shot in hospital when the babies were just hours old, I didn’t think anything of it and they kept saying I was them covered straight away - fair enough… however after both babies which I have to point out were both planned sections, I bled for 12 weeks straight 🤦♀️ after the first time when I was due my second shot at the GP, the nurse said they actually shouldn’t have given me it so early and that was probably the reason why! BUT whilst planning my last section they were really pushy about it (as if sex was going to be on my mind at all anytime soon) so I agreed once again. Bled for 12, I was on and off all of December into end of January spotting here and there, complained at my last depo shot appointment and they said it should have ideally stopped by now (irregular bleeding is more common side effect) so I had swabs and an examination done just to check everything over inside and all was
Absolutely fine, I’ve had nothing since (touch wood!) I suppose it can just take a long time depending on you x
Go back to the doctors and ask if this is normal, everyone’s body is different so I wouldn’t get medical advice on here
