Low lying placenta

Had my 20 weeks scan this week and was told I have a low lying placenta (not completely covering cervix, just a small amount over overlap), and that they’d book another scan at 32 weeks to check if it has lifted off my cervix as everything grows. Has anyone been told this at 20 weeks and did you end up having to have a caesarean?

I had this and mines had moved by 32 weeks xx

I was also told this at 20 weeks but then at 32 was told it was actually fully covering my cervix (placenta previa) so had a caesarean at 37 weeks. I think 9 out of 10 move though so you’ve got a good chance! Don’t think about it too much until you need to ☺️

I had this with my first pregnancy and it moved at around 36 weeks!

Yes mine didn’t move till 36 weeks xx
