Scooter question

Hi I want to get my toddler a scooter for her birthday, I didn't know whether the tilt and turn ones or the normal ones with handle bars to turn would be better for her, any advice? She's not coordinated (even compared to most her age lol) so I just want to get something that will be as safe and easy as possible for her. Thanks

We bought the tilt one originally (I didn't know it was a thing 😂) and it's horrible! We're buying the turn one for her birthday now :) she instinctively wanted to turn it

That's so helpful thanks I'll stick with the classic!

I second that, we have a tilt to turn and it’s a nightmare

We have the tilt and turn and tbh it's not the best he has to stop and re position to go a different direction

My daughter wants to try every scooter every time we go to the toy store & we got her one for Christmas. We found the handlebar steering ones have 1 wheels at the front & tip over more easily if you're helping them or they take too tight a turn. The lean steering ones with 2 wheels at the front are more sturdy & easier to help them. I find if I hold her coat by the scruff at the back I can push & steer her without killing my back quite easily. & she can easily get off & adjust the direction of the scooter (while I endlessly try to tell her it goes the direction she's leaning so if she looks at the wall to her left she'll scoot into it!)😂

We just got one this week. The leaning one and I was debating if to return it because she definitely doesn’t understand the turning thing. But I did suspect that the ones with normal turning would not be that stable

We bought the tilt one first (without knowing it was a tilt one) and it was horrible. So we bought a normal scooter… now she prefers the tilt scooter having mastered it. Whichever scooter you get, just make sure the two wheels are at the front and one wheel at the back… (or one wheel at front and back) my little one kept catching her heel on the scooter with the two wheels on the back X
