Constipation

My little boy seems to be really constipated.. it’s been a couple days since he’s done a ‘proper’ poo, but whenever he squeezes or tries to go, he really cries and it’s just horrible to see as i just don’t know how to help. He’s currently in a warm bath which seems to be helping but wondered if there were any other things I can try to help him? He seems to be teething too so I know sometimes this can be linked, but just need some help! Thank you! X

Give him plenty of water and then prunes or pears (can be fruit/ juice/ purée). That should help x

We used lactulose when our boy was severly constipated. We tried prune sachets first. Lots of water will help aswell.xx

My local pharmacist recommended a probiotic drops, to help with all my little girls tummy troubles including constipation. We still use the probiotic now (16months).

We had same situation. Bought prune pouches and cut out bananas. Made sure she has weetabix for breakfast. It worked but our girl clearly has tendency to be constipated
