Bath?
Nothing was said on my discharge papers about avoiding baths so not sure if I can. I didn’t tear this delivery. I was told no baths after my first bc I did tear then. Just wasn’t sure since I’m going on 4 weeks postpartum and still having some bleeding.

I would wait and see what the doctor says at the six week postpartum visit
Are you bleeding? If so I would stick to showers until your ob visit

I didn't tear and I was told no baths for at least 2 weeks.
I tore and needed six stitches. Doctor told me to wait 6 weeks but I ended up taking one at 4 weeks because I was really sick and needed comfort. I wasn’t bleeding at 4 weeks though so I’m not sure exactly. I’d recommend waiting atleast 4.

I didn't tear either and was told no baths, hot tubs, tampons, sex, or anything inserted in the vagina. Edit to add: told to wait until 6 week check up.
