Mines 2 weeks old and Ive started introducing moisturiser first as she’s quite dry and I’m trying that for a week and then possibly introducing shampoo I reckon so taking it slowly
I started using it from around 2 weeks old. 1 bath a week and started to bathe them more around 3-4 weeks. I use nalas and aveno products!
Mines 3 weeks old and I've still not moved onto using products yet as her skin is still peeling a little. I've been using mustela no rinse cleansing milk every day but she's still been having a bath in just water like 2-3 times a week as it helps to settle her for bed on a nighttime 🫶
Mine is just over 4 weeks and her skin is still very sensitive and dry so we have bathed in water only so far.
I've just been using a little bit of Childs Farm fragrance free bubble bath and then moisturising with Nala Baby Oil or Coconut Oil after. I only bathe her once a week
With my first we didn’t use any product until 1 month, then we used Aveeno and only put it in the bath water. We will be doing the same now and then using coconut oil as moisturiser after. I don’t think we used shampoo until my daughter was over a year or more but she never had a lot of hair!
thanks everyone ☺️
I got told from midwife / health visitor when their small all the bathing products really just money making. Little bit of olive oil or coconut oil do the trick . We’ve used coconut and been great at moisturising
So my boy was 2 weeks on Friday and he had his first bath on day 12. I was told using some of your breastmilk in the water is really nourishing for their skin but since then I had to give him one bath a day later as he got poo on his body and a wipe wasn’t good enough so I used this gentle Weleda baby body wash and shampoo wash so from now on I’ll use a little bit of products but bath him as little as possible unless he really needs it. I also moisturise his skin with the Weleda food skin baby cream which is really rich and gentle x
