Thumb sucking

Anyone else have a thumb sucker? My LG has sucked her thumb since about 4 months old. It doesn't really bother me but I do worry about her teeth in the future as I am not sure how to get her to stop eventually. She has never had a dummy either. Tia X 👍🏽

That's the same with my little girl she started doing it just after she was born and then didn't do it again till 3 months but I don't know how I am going to stop her at some point either

Same as my boy, he started at 3 months now 13 months and still does. I don’t mind it as he takes it when wants to go to sleep only. Dummy is worser that ruins teeth’s and then babies always tend to just keep dummy in the mouth, thumbs they Don’t.

My LO also sucks her thumb, I don’t really have any pointers for stopping. I also sucked my thumb until I was 14. I had 18 months of orthodontic work done when I was 15 which stopped the thumb sucking and corrected my teeth. Been fine ever since, but my parents had tried every trick and remedy to get me to stop without luck. The bitter nail varnish you can buy came the closest to stopping me.

My daughter has sucked her thumb since she was 3 months old, no dummy either. I don’t plan on doing anything about it, she will stop when she is ready, whenever that may be
