DS test

I spoke to the doc about my tests results and they said they all came back low risk, so I never thought anything of it. But I checked my badger notes last night and my DS test was 1 in 285. I know that’s still classed as low risk, but I still can’t help but worry 😓 I’m sure my odds were much lower than that with my first pregnancy. Anyone else?

Hey. I had exactly the same. Mine were 1:230. High risk is from 1:150. But I felt the same as you that it was higher than I wanted it to be. I ended up paying privately for NIPT

@Incognito thanks for that! How much was it to get the NIPT test if you don’t mind me asking? And what are the results like? Is it just a more in depth odds result? Or is it like a definite yes or no? Sorry, not sure how it works! X

It was £350. It comes as a positive or negative but is much more accurate than the combined screening. It is something like 99.6% so still classed as screening and not diagnostic as it isn't 100%. I can send you my results privately if you want so you can see what they look like x

I can’t see my results on the badger app. I was just told I was low. Where does it normally show and how much info does it give from the 12 week scan? Thank you ☺️

@Hannah It normally shows on the blood/microbiology section x

My midwife told me that the max they go to now is 1 in 5000
