Chances of conceiving on IUD?

My anxiety is really getting the best of me and I’ve had unprotected sex several times since getting my IUD put in almost a year ago. I had my son in April and got my IUD at the end of June and I’ve always been so paranoid that I’m gonna get pregnant on the IUD and every time I start to cramp or feel nauseous I can never decide if I’m actually pregnant or if it’s just the IUD still settling in. I just need maybe some advice or personal experiences you guys have faced like this because I really do not want to be pregnant right now. 😭😭😭😭😭

First iud for 6 years, didn’t get pregnant. Second one currently in for 2 years and not yet. It’s like 99.9% effective so 1 in 1000 will get pregnant on it. It would have settled by now but I still get cramps and sicky feelings around my period date xx

I have a Mirena IUD for almost 2 years now and my husband finishes inside everytime. No pregnancy here lol

@Ana Moore same haha. I’ve had it for a year and a half and no pregnancy. The first time I had it I had it for like 7 months and didn’t get pregnant. Got it taken out because we wanted to try

@Gabrielle did you get pregnant quickly? We will start trying for our next baby in 1 year or 2

@Ana Moore yes but I think I’m a very much odd ball out. I got pregnant first month with both kids. Idk if it was luck or if I’m just that fertile idk. We are very curious when we try for our third will it be quick again or what. Praying it’ll be quick but who knows. But the iud didn’t affect anything with being able to get pregnant. We plan to start trying in May I think

@Gabrielle Thats awesome!! My IUD didn’t even affect my period so Im really happy with this contraception method.

Oh yay that’s good. Yeah I think for me it’s made it not as heavy but I think I’m still trying to regulate. Before ever having kids and before birth control I had very irregular periods. Then got on BC and it leveled out and leveled out after my first. But this time. It’s like every couple of weeks or i have it for a couple of weeks so it’s just confusing but I think my body is just struggling hormonally. Not the IUD lol

Yes I got pregnant on an iud I had for almost 2 years and I was sexually actively then after two years I got pregnant

@Rach any idea if it had gotten dislodged and that’s why or what

@Gabrielle nope! It was in the perfect spot and not broken at all, my OB didn’t know why
