I had this and it’s awful, message me if you want to chat I know it’s so frustrating! Have you been recommended/ offered any medication because that’s what finally helped me but I had to try a few before one actually helped. Apart from that the best thing I can suggest is the small hartleys jelly pots and apple sauce first thing when you wake up as sugar seemed to help kill the sickness if even just so I could take a shower in the morning. I also found for me strangely that the sour sweety sprays (my favourite were the brain licker ones 😅) seemed to get rid of a bout of sickness when out and about x

Hey, I had this horrendously! I’m so sorry you’re going through it. I went through every trick possible and I was at wits ends. Have the drs given you anti sickness? I assume so! I went through 6 different ones but I just kept throwing them up. In the end I injected intramuscular into my thighs with ondansetron, I was able to because I am a nurse and I was willing to do anything to help myself- I was fed up of going into hospital being on IV drips and having injections xx

Just at the hospital now on an i.v 😢😫 I feel terrible. Not been able to keep any food down or any of my medication. I feel hungry but sick! I'd love to have jelly or somthing but unfortunately I also have gestational diabetes.. I have a rare medical history so it's a miracle im pregnant but this is really hard and I just keep crying! Xx

Definitely get some anti sickness tablets! Ginger nut biscuits and fruity ice lollies helped me especially the ice lollies as it was flavour plus hydration! If you're in the UK, Miss Mollys from Tesco wete great and cheap!

i didn't have this myself, but i follow a woman on instagram who had her baby at the end of 2024 who documented her experience with it. might be worth having a look at her profile as i imagine it's a lonely experience. she's em_clarkson on instagram. sending love xx

i had this! ask your GP about ondansetron if you’re comfortable with meds, it absolutely saved me, i felt no sickness whatsoever after i started it and was able to enjoy my pregnancy x

I had this bad with my ,1st, it was pure hell, was in and out of hospital for 3 months till they found the right medicine for it. Spent most of it living in the bathroom at home before heading to hospital. The only thing that made me feel any sense of relief with flat cloudy lemonade and ondanstadron anti sickness tablets. I give a warning though if you are given cizaline ( can't spell it) through your IV as a liquid it may make you high as a kite. Did help the sickness for a bit though. It doesn't last forever and with my 2nd I didn't have it at all.

I'm just about coming out of the worst part of it at week 16. I tried 4 different types of anti emetics before ondansetron did the trick (I waited till I was 12 weeks for this one). Had the worst sleepiness with Xonvea! I was able to keep down dates, bananas and mangoes, fairly high in nutrients and calories. If it didn't stay down, at least it wasn't so unpleasant coming back up! I second ice lollies for hydration.

Im 13 weeks. I really hope I don't have it for thr entire pregnancy! Can't wait to get my hands on an ice lolly. Although I really have the shivers. No temp just shivers anyone else get this because they were soo sick? Xx

I had this my entire pregnancy it was serve message me privately if you need someone to talk to it’s very depressing

I had it with my entire pregnancy, I tried everything. I hate to say this absolutely nothing helped, I could barely keep water down my entire pregnancy. I had alot of overnight visits with the hospital for drips and vitamin bags. I also second the sour sprays (especially brain lickers) They did make it more bearable but I was sick multiple times a day right up until I gave birth, even during labor!

I will say the antisickness medicine you can try later on in pregnancy helped way way more than the earlier ones but nothing really has that big of an impact on mine sadly

24 weeks and was diagnosed at 8 weeks. I’m so sorry you’re going through this and message anytime. It can be very depressing and isolating 🥰🥰

I had this in my pregnancy, it was awful couldn’t even keep down water until I was about 18 weeks. I was so miserable, and felt huge guilt as my baby was so wanted but I felt no joy about being pregnant. Some tips: 1. take the drugs! Ginger biscuits and crackers are fine for morning sickness but prescription medicine was the only thing that helped me keep down any food or fluids. 2. If you’re not keeping down water, order ketone testing strips and test your urine. If your body is in ketosis it’s not good for baby so ask for IV fluids. 3. Tell people. My biggest regret is that my pregnancy was still a secret so I had no support apart from my partner for months whilst I was bedridden with HG.
