Baby clothes

Does everybody still wash baby clothes before using? I’ve been collecting my little boys next size clothes (18-24) and was going to change his wardrobe around tomorrow. I havnt washed any yet, do you think this matters now? I’ve washed his vests but that’s it. It seems so much effort to do a huge wash for no reason haha. Also, I end up washing things that never get worn so end up removing tags for no reason.

I only wash things that aren't in sealed packs. I do them on a quick wash cycle. Just to remove anything people had on their hands before I put them on LO incase he has a reaction

Clothes get sprayed with stuff to keep them fresh before they get sold, so it's always a good idea to wash before wearing at any size. Saying that, I often can't bring myself to wait when there's something new I'm desperate to put on

Yea I still wash everything my daughter gets before it’s worn x

Yes I always wash them Before use , you don’t know who’s touched them plus a small child in a trolley, pushchair or just walking pass has sneezed/ coughed on them or touched them with sticky hands x

I once saw a video of a lady taking her pet monkey to carters and she was trying the clothes on the monkey and putting it back on the rack . I don’t think I’ll ever not wash my baby’s clothes 😅

Bad mum here. 🙋‍♀️I don’t wash them and haven’t for ages. It’s not long before they are dirty and in the wash anyway. Xx

Yes, same for my clothes!
