I make it a priority to do my workouts when my son naps- even if it’s only 20 minutes! i do these you tube workouts called pop sugar fitness and they are a game changer
@Kim Thanks for your response 😁 I’m glad I’m not the only one! Prepping dinner is so smart I didn’t even think of that wow. Yup I can’t wait till the summer it’s not great weather in Alaska right now to be comfortable outside otherwise I would take my baby with me and stay outside😂 I should in invest in a treadmill for now
@jenna Thank you! I’ll have to get that out on yt have you seen good progress?
What about going to a gym with childcare? I take my kiddos with me everyday when I go.
I use to work out during first nap for about 30-40 min everyday for 6 months I brought the nice day stepper on Amazon and I have two 10 lb dumbbells and saw amazing progress then I started going at 5 am bc I needed to gain more muscle
It’s really hard! I try to squeeze one in around 5 am before my son wakes up (around 6:30 am). If that doesn’t work, then I’ll do one during his first nap. Worst case scenario, I thrown a mat down in the play area and workout while he’s playing.
In the same struggle since my girl turned one (she's about to be two). I work out at home. I realized there are some days that it won't happen and I try again the next day or next week when she is sick. I also prep dinner once a week mostly because I work and it helps a lot. I use MWH app and it is helpful because she has short workouts, some are 15 minutes, that leave me feeling great.
Working out at home! It’s sometimes the only way. I do workout classes on YouTube with Sydney Cummings. She’s an incredible trainer. I highly recommend for anyone working out at home!
I workout at home for that exact reason! I have a low sleep needs early riser kid. It makes it impossible. I tried after the kids are in bed. I couldn’t do it. What I have been doing, is prepping dinner during the day. Sometimes it’s completely done. Other times I will just prep and have everything ready to cook. I workout 430-530pm. My husband sometimes helps. He will take things out of the oven for me. But, by planning ahead we can sit down to dinner together and not hold our bedtime routine up. Doing it this way is the only way I can exercise. So, I have stayed with it. I have an elliptical and free weights and kettlebells. When the weather is better, I get outside for my workouts.
