Scan

12 weeks tomorrow and my nhs scan isn’t until next Friday.. I had a private scan at 6 weeks and was relieved to see a blob with a heartbeat but since then my anxiety has been building and I’ve been thinking is everything okay, is it not okay.. constantly overthinking. Anxiety got the better of me and I booked a private scan yesterday. I’m so glad I did! Happy to see a little healthy bubba 🥰 looking at the scan pictures and comparing to our son, I think it looks like a boy.. would be interesting to know what others think!! The sonographer said I was measuring 12w4d but I was 11w5d.. wondering what the nhs will measure and date me as they’ve put an EDD as 31st August 😅

@Kalina this is our 3rd and each time I say I can’t believe how incredible it is, the fact it’s gone from a blob to an actual looking baby in less than 6 weeks.. and the fact it was moving so much but it’s obviously so small still that I can’t feel it. Womens bodies are amazing!!!

Awww love this 🥰 I can't wait to see my baby again! Anxiety got the better of me too and I've booked a scan for tomorrow, I'm 9 weeks today and had a blob and heartbeat at 6 weeks so really hoping everything goes well 🤞🏻🤞🏻 you just hear so many stories I get so worried something will be wrong and I'll know nothing about it 😭🤦🏻‍♀️we decided it'll be worth just spending the money and easing my anxiety

@Charly i had an outside scan at 8 weeks

@Charly I just had one at 9 weeks and they did abdominal then asked if I wanted an internal for a closer/clearer look. Which obviously I said yes to 😅 we saw baby's limbs clearer and could see then wriggling around and waving/kicking about 🥰
