@Krista I was just looking at this one on Amazon! I have no problem with her knowing how babies are made but I just feel like the book has soooo much information in it and it’s a lot for a little one to take in all at once. I’m looking for a simpler one.
First off yay! Teaching kids proper names is so important specifically for safety issues. There will be no question as to where that person touched you should that thing happen? . Second, I don’t know. I feel like just having those conversations regularly and organically is more important than constantly reading different books about it.
Because then they learn to just be able to co-up and have conversations with you as the parent Not saying don’t teach him to research those things, but I think that’s for you know your middle school age children
Amazing you by Dr. Gail saltz has a great run-through of body parts and how they work. Just a fair warning, it does go through how babies come to be as well as. But the recommended age group is 3 and up.
