They don’t always play the heartbeat on nhs scans xx

I’ve never had a heart beat played at a nhs scan, it’s usually at your midwife appointment some at 16 weeks some at the 20 weeks one depends where you alive x

Don’t think i heard heartbeat during any scans with previous pregnancy. It was all when doing midwife appointments they would listen to the heartbeat as they don’t do the scans! Xx

I’m pregnant with no5 and my other for kids in scans ( 2 different hospitals ) never let us listen to the heartbeat , I had 10 week scan 10 days ago and the new hospital I was under quickly played the heartbeat, ur find the only time ur get to hear the heartbeat playing in a scan is in a private scan, and with the nhs it be at the midwife appointment or on a monitor in nhs scans they only check to see a heart beating and show u the heart flickering
