From my personal experience. The mirena was hell! I had nothing but trouble. The first one migrated and the second one got stuck. I did nothing but bleed through both. But that’s just my personal experience. I know people who absolutely love it! It’s so different for everybody x
I loved my mirena, had two, no bleeding at all and was the only thing that works for me. If I cant persuade my husband to get a vasectomy I will get it again once I've given birth for sure
If you’re done with having kids why don’t you ask hubby to have a vasectomy? You’ve done all the hard work so far!!
I had the mirena for 5 years and felt it completely changed my personality hormonal and so much weight gain Wouldn’t recommend it I was also 18 when it was put it in though at a doctors recommendation and it’s a highest dosage of a hormonal iud. I did have a copper iud for a year after but I ended up removing and completely stopping bc to heal
I had the mirena inserted , i bled for 2 months after that, but I haven't had even a spot for months. The only problem i am having is the migraine and weight gain, and i have noted that I am developing skin tags. I am considering having it removed. But since everyone is different it might work for you xx
i had the mirena and i’ll be getting it again when we’re done having kids, i loved mine! was uncomfortable to have put in and i had spotting for a day or two, but after that i wouldn’t even know it was there xx
