I didn’t have the copper IUD, but I had the mirena. It fell out while using a menstrual cup which I didn’t know could happen and it was scary at the time. Otherwise had a good experience with IUDs.

I had paraguard for almost ten years and had no issues. Only symptoms were heavier periods with more cramps

I just had my second babe in December and talked to my OB about it because I love the idea of going the non-hormonal route because I am still breastfeeding my dude and just don't want anymore hormones after being pregnant and breastfeeding for the entirety of the last 2+ years. She strongly didn't recommend it due to the longer, heavier periods accompanied by more painful cramps. I've posted in other FB groups asking for real experiences with it and someplace peopled had really bad experiences with it. Others said they've loved it. I think I'm personally going to go with the mini pill while I'm still breastfeeding in case it drops my milk supply because of the hormones. But I've had luck with using the Natural Cycles app and tracking my temp and ovulation. Otherwise I did have the Kyleena IUD before I had my July babe that I didn't have any issues with.

I used natural cycles with oura ring, I would highly recommend that to anyone!

I have the Mirena IUD and so far no issues. I am still breastfeeding, so far my supply has not dropped.
