Stain removal

Any one have good tips for the wonderful yellow poop stains? 😂 We did some nappy off time and I’ve ruined a few towels! Used elbow grease and soaked in napisan before washing, but marks didn’t come out. I didn’t rinse it/ treat it right away so possibly the issue but it was done the next day.

I’ve seen leaving them to dry in the sun helps a lot. Unfortunately, for us in the UK, it is not possible 😂

I’ve not had to try it on towels but with my first and current baby, I’d soak the clothes in cold water for at least an hour, then smother the mark in the pink stuff paste &leave for a few hours then throw in the wash as normal. It’s never failed me!

Use 222mL chlorine bleach (like Domestos) per 5L of water in a bucket. 1 Add the chlorine bleach amount (mLs) directly to 5L of hot water (whatever temperature the clothes will allow) 2 Stir the bleach into the water 3 Add the items ◦ Use a white towel to keep the items submerged. 4 Soak for 30 minutes For a small number of items, hand wash with detergent and add to a rinse and spin cycle. Otherwise, wash the items in a warm-hot (40-60°C) 30-60 minute cycle with detergent. The items will contain residual bleach so do not add non-colourfast items to this cycle.

Good old vanish did the trick for us

Fairy liquid!!! And white stain powder and spray, mine have always came out using these

Milton tablets! Wash it & soak it in cold water overnight with sterilising tablets and it will go away. Ive done it multiple times with my baby due to blowouts LOL

Smol stain gel works really well for me, even for very old stains from hand me down clothes 😊

On whites I use bleach Other things I tend to hand wash straight away (as soon as I can) and the stain usually comes off or gets lighter, then wash in the washing machine. I’m trialing out asevi stain remover for my older kids clothes, it’s good so far but idk if it’s too strong for baby clothes & skin (the chemicals)

Fairy platinum! The only thing I’ve found gets them out 🫣x

I use napisan and soak in the sink for an hour

I soak mine in the bath with oxypowder and then wash

Original washing up liquid and a good scrub then into the washing machine

Napisan is magic for this!

@Ana ditto to this! Leave on a windowsill over a day and makes a huge difference

I just put stuff out on the line whatever the weather and it seems to work 😂

I rinse in cold water as soon as possible and then whack some stain remover on before washing ☺️
