Slings
I literally just can’t hack a fabric sling. It hurts my arms, my daughter is screaming as soon as I try and out one on. Same with the buckle slings. I can’t go anywhere or do anything because my pram is so inefficient, my local shop doesn’t fit it. I really wanted to be a sling wearer but I’m close to giving up

My husband has an ergo embrace which is great. It’s much simpler than a wrap but still soft and small enough for a newborn. If you’re not sure on what you want it may be worth looking at a sling library
Definitely look into a sling library - they will have looooads and should know their stuff about which ones to try based on what you want. Most of them then let you hire them to see if it works for you.
